Why Donate?
While the museum does charge an entrance fee, it is not enough to sustain the museum itself. We largely run on grants, investors, and the generosity of the community, which means you!
Donations can be made to specific sections and exhibits. Once an exhibit has been funded, it gets built. This means that by donating, you get a vote on the information that comes to the museum and the knowledge available for your children to learn. You can even earn prizes, discounts, and special merchandise through your donations.
Don’t care about what exhibit gets funded, but you want to donate anyway? You can donate to our general fund, which helps to expand the museum, add new features, and keep up on the safety of our equipment so that the kids are never in danger. Extra money from the general fund is used to push through the last of the finances needed for an exhibit that is close to being funded.
